This really is a triumph of a wine. Pure fruited, with the tremendous aromatics you would expect from Ribera. The key here is that the tannins have been tamed, making a wine which is forthright but also supple. Aromas of bramble fruit, vanilla, nutmeg and sweet spice. The palate is rich and complex with blueberry and blackberry fruit, ripe tannins and good length.

Great freshness with polished, well integrated oak and a long, complex finish. A fantastic amount of wine for the money and perfect for roast lamb at Easter!
